Building Creative Wealth

I have been in the creative field my whole life. I have worked on movies, ads, books, TV shows, print, commercials, billboards, digital, analog, websites, albums and much more.
I have driven projects and I have supported initiatives. I have taken the lead and sat back far more than I'd like to admit. But the one thing I have learned throughout all this creative work is that it only takes one person.
It only takes one person to be affected by your work. It might not be revolutionary. It might not be earth shattering.
It might not be anything more than a brief pause. A fleeting moment of thought. And if we are lucky -- maybe even a smile.
Sometimes we need to adjust our perspective of what success really means.
We are told that material wealth is the definition of success, but success for creative wealth is far more elusive. Far more intangible.
Success for creative wealth is all about affecting one person. And hopefully making their day just a bit better. A bit easier. A bit more reflective.
I believe we can all benefit from a little recalibration of our definition of success, no matter what we do.
